openAIR was a weekly studio open to staff and students from all CSM programmes, to support the development of public practice in the local. It was a space in which to examine methods for ‘staying’ and paying attention to a place, with an emphasis on keeping the research process open to unknown outcomes through doing things in the everyday, and sustaining meaningful conversations with individuals and organisations.

OpenAIR took place in Archway 2008-12 and King’s Cross 2013-16.
