Pass on

Freddie Opoku-Addaie

Pass On was an intimate site-specific dance duet in the landscapes of North Woolwich, a collaboration with two local residents, a sound artist, a designer and a choreographer.

I thought it was a reflection of North Woolwich residents – meeting briefly for an occasion/event then going their separate ways until the next one. Another thought it was a dance of longing, missing the connection to South Woolwich. Some thought it was a dance of loneliness, a place forgotten. North Woolwich resident

Freddie was commissioned as part of Tidal Twirlings in summer 2016, supported by London Borough of Newham and Arts Council England.
