In Kind

Sarah Cole

In-Kind was a mobile one-woman performance for an audience of one in an old military ambulance. It was made with and for carers building on the collaborative research process of Care Full. Each audience member encountered a series of actions performed with an inflatable zimmerframe, a stuffed canary, party balloons, pill boxes, stacks of chaotic paperwork, a musical saw and much desperate clambering, depicting the strains, frustrations and pleasures of the carer's life.

In-Kind was performed by Erika Poole and produced by Rachel Anderson. Sarah was commissioned in 2013 for A Million Minutes in partnership with Islington Council with funding from Arts Council England.
